It was a very cold day at the winter carnival in February. I was shooting all day for a travel magazine production. It was not requested to get a shot of Quebec City, "outside the carnival" but I didn't want to let that opportunity slip away. It was a very cold but clear evening so I positioned myself in the lower old town of Quebec City, near the Quartier Petite Champlain and waited till the "blue hour" mixed beautifully with the Quebec City lights. The pictures shows the older lower part of Quebec City (Quartier Petite Champlain) with the famous Fairmont Hotel Chateau Frontenac above. The little snow on the side of the road makes the shot unique.
